Giles Smith (Secret Sundaze): “Don’t know too much about DJ Wild, other than that he’s from Paris, but this is the second thing I have snapped up form him of late and really works. Coming out on Guido Schneider’s impressive Motivbank “Sol” is latin inspired, pumping, jacking groove with some beef. Pretty tooly and tracky in structure the focal point in the middle is some male latin spoken vocals, but it doesn’t wait around too long before the solid, chunky groove kicks back in. “Jambon Beurre” is cool too, not starying too far from the formulae – solid percussion, a slightly more noticeable bassline melody and some spoken word vocal snippets. Although sounding new and fresh these definitely have an old school house influence and owe as much to Sneak and Doc Martin as they do Schneider. Likin DJ Wild’s style, raw, pumping, jacking....more please! B side definitely has some old school acid House influence definitely has a “Baby wants to Ride Influence”.”
