Doomwork are Alex Catalani and Claudio Maura. The pair were born in Rome in 1987. It was to be twenty years before the pair made their production debut with 2007's 'Digitale Purpurea EP' on Mario Piu's label Farenheit Music. But it was the Pair's remix of Butch's 'Falling' on Craft Music alongside Piu, that really brought them to our attention. Riding high off a wave of big name support for the Butch remix, the pair dropped the 2008 release 'Cantada' on Uomo Records. The same year saw the boys team up with the Neurotraxx label of Neuroxyde. This collaboration was the catalyst in a run of successful releases that would se the pair break into the beatport download charts. Their' Seven Kilometers Per Day' EP alongside the label head reached #04 in the Techno rundown, collecting the support of Dubfire on its way. Alex and Claudio signed exclusively to Neurotraxx, and created their Doomwork moniker. There, the current run of success truly began. Their releases and remixes have since ruled the download charts, and their brand of fantastic deep-tech house has found them huge support from some of the finest names in the business.. Today Exclusive bring their latest smash. Featuring Valentine, 'Groovin' is trademark Doomwork. Strong beats, full bassline and killer groove throughout. Valentine's vocals work perfectly to create a wonderful balearic, summer atmosphere. For the remix the team have drafted in the UK's guru of deep, Mr Milton Jackson. Here he turns in a beautiful, smooth as silk rework. Delicate yet powerful synths are matched perfectly with grooving bassline. This is perfection.
