Belgian producer Joris Biesmans (aka Cashmere* and Benn Lian) delivers a counterweight to the fast food music that ram-raids its way into todays mainstream consciousness, with a project named TVe - The Virtual escape indicating his urge to escape from todays data-saturated, musicas mass-industrial-product environment. Musically, TVe aims for an aesthetic ambush incorporating strange & self-made hardware instruments, tape machines, non-standard structures, atonal abstraction, noise, distortion and randomness - openly embracing imperfections instead of smoothing them out with calibrated presets & templates. To this end, TVe has brought two masters of this approach on board for the labels debut EP and with Creme Organization alumni Legowelt and ASOK bringing forth their own inimitable style on remixes of Biesmans delightfully askew original productions.
