Alex Tsiridis, one of Techno’s more prolific producers, returns to the label he operates alongside Mor Elian. Tsiridis has used the Rhyw alias to explore more abstract interpretations of both the Techno genre, and the wider dance music spectrum.

On this particular missive Tsiridis looks to his musical roots, growing up in the UK for inspiration, with a pair of high tensile, deconstructed club tools. Both find their focus in the low end, with the artist looking to the silent space between percussive strikes as much as any one sonic component. Vocal cuts lend the tracks their identity, with careful shifts and edits thereof lifting both recordings up far and above the sum of their parts.

The result is satisfying & undeniably effective – Tsiridis’ output as Rhyw has always been deceptively simple – favouring economy of elements over a crowded sonic space. This latest effort is no different, a well executed & welcome addition to the discographies of both artist and label.
