kenny dope and louie vegas nu-yorican soul project was responsible for some of the biggest underground club hits to come out of nyc throughout the 1990s, their collective vast musical knowledge, impeccable taste and legendary status as djs in the city only helped elevate them to the highest level.

it was in february 2015 when japanese producer and sound designer kuniyuki takahashi, sometimes known as koss, releases with the ep ônewwave project æ2ö a record, that tapped some roots of his mu-sical education: new wave, german electro punk from bands like a daf, ebm from acts like front 242 as well as industrial music.

die idee des projekts ist es, eine andere perspektive von tribal italia zu rekonstruieren, einem label, das 1995 in riccione gegründet wurde. das label erinnerte an die haltung der afro-kosmischen djs der region wie meo, fary, fattori und brahms, die in ganz italien und europa ein unverwechselbares „weltsound-markenzeichen“ schufen (wie in letzter zeit die österreichischen experimente von stefan egger).
