palette is proud to debut its newest artist, dave hughes. the irish born, la-resident sound engineer finally let palette in on his music making secrets. the result is daves debut ep >lets do it<. a three tracker showcasing what is to come from this visionary artist. >lets do it< kicks the ep off with a strong rhythmic solid base which alone would be enough to solidify it as a stand out track, but without delay the song quickly develops into a musical journey with rhythmic chords at the end providing the icing on the cake. the flip side provides two more tracks of the same calibre, >it all deepends< and >realization< showcase great sound design skills and a message about our own humanity. take in to account the heavy subs and intricate drum programming and you have what we feel to be a classic palette recordings single
