sumerian fleet is a trio formed by dutch producers alden tyrell and mr pauli, joined by zarkoff after their 2010 debut ep. their second ep came out in 2012 followed by their debut album ‘just pressure’ on dark entries in 2014. sumerian fleet have returned to release their sophomore lp ‘pendulum’ of all new material as well as a remixed version of “this game has no name” from zarkoff’s other band, fffc.

sumerian fleet aka alden tyrell and mr pauli with vocalist zarkoff. their debut eponymous ep was released on clones west coast series in 2010 and the sturm bricht los ep came out in 2012 on the creme eclipse branch of creme organization.

sumerian fleet ep on creme eclipse. big menacing darkwave with an industrial tinge from this mysterious west coast super group, like someone finally removed those damn sunglasses from the sisters of mercy dude and showed him the world was an even sadder place than he imagined. little was heard of him since. a masterclass in weltschmerz.

the west coast series continues... after the huge hasbeens release its sumerian fleet with a amazing 5 track ep full of big dark wave inspired tracks. the perfect sound track for a movie such as irreversible. scary, haunting and dirty! do we hear some influences of the cure? liaisons dangereuses? adult? front 242? john fox? by far the most inspiring electro release we have heard in a while with its crazy industrial drive and dirty machine funk and robotic synths. btw check out that last track blech erkrankung... that track alone is worth buying this record! big.
