here we have the first release on husten. husten is a new label from apiento (aka paul byrne) from test pressing. ‘the orange place’ by apiento & co was originally released on world unknown and from there became a favourite with everyone from todd terje and andrew weatherall and the balearic crowd. apiento asked wolf mu&#776,,ller to have a play with the track and here we are. wolf mu&#776,,ller is from du&#776,,sseldorf. he made his name as a dj at the infamous salon des amateurs and from there as a producer for labels like themes for great cities and collaborator with the likes of young marco as young wolf

in his first outing since 2011s now classic the orange place, test pressings paul byrne teams up with sades andrew hale for the light machine, a low slung, throbbing, acid led piece of gorgeousness that has been getting rave reviews from the balearic mafia all over. for esp paul teams up with yellos producer / engineer ian tregoning aka the stranger for another intoxicating piece that recalls the best moments of the art of noise if they were still making music in 2014. a remix from swiss dj and perennial man of the moment lexx rounds out the package perfectly. golf channel every time!

this is a little beauty from claremont. the first side features la based fresh ro! (rong music), who presents us with a drifty synth/violin led summer gem that is reminiscent of loggins & messina. the flip side sees apiento & co (paul bryne from the testpressing blog) layering up guitars in a steve reich style which will sure get the goosebumps going. strictly limited to 300, limited clear vinyl 7 inch.
