electric ethno fusion

its just over a year since we started our new label, real balearic. for our second artist album we are really pleased (and honoured) to welcome one of the few djs who can claim to be one of the founders of the eclectic balearic sound. take a trip back to the 70s and 80s in northern italy and you will fine daniele baldelli mixing up electronic, african and slo-mo disco records to co-create the electronica meccanica sub genre. records often would be played at the wrong or variable speed to be made to fit into a wide aural tapestry of his unexpected-but-seamlessly-flowing dj sets. this of course is an aesthetic close to us here at real balearic. a sound we are ever so pleased to have as part of the mixing pot for our new balearic label. for the album he pairs up with fellow italian dj rocca to serve up an eclectic â€,“, electronic â€,“, balearic feast.

the kachiri remix ep features a varied selection from some of the finest. kicking off with tronik youth who takes the title track and reboots into a harder darker groove, pushing the synths to breaking point. man power ignites a fire on the dancefloor with real bass and spacey chords. ivan smagghe creates an off kilter eclectic groove with a different energy. jamie patton dubs out pink ghost with a twisted and warped groove that takes it to a new cosmos. whilst, kasper bjorke takes us down to the sea with his love vibes and tropical rework of volupia. craig bratley adds his dark synths and toughened grooves for late night dance floors. two mamarrachos lead us on an epic 11 minute journey with their massive pink ghost funk groove

is it balearic recordings latest is the reflextion ep from baldelli & rocca. 3 electronic disco bombs and a quality remix from ray mang. reflextion is a driving synth italo disco stomper. mr mang adds a little acid and a touch odf house. side bs first track is a classically italo disco dancefloor gem lots of symth action a flappy percussion give this a hypnotic quality ready for some smoke drenched dancefloors. out to lunch is a more quircky take on the same theme. like a lost maxi 12 b-side pf an italian elctropop ftrack from the late 80s. great ep.
