visioneers join bbe in celebrating their 15th year with this special edition 45. at a time when most labels were pressing extended play 12 vinyl, marc mac (4hero) took a chance on releasing limited edition 7 inch 45s under the guise of visioneers. right from the start these 45s became a big deal among the funk, eclectic & hip hop djs including jazzy jeff, kenny dope, dj spinna, giles peterson, nick weston, benji b and j rocc. >the world is yours<, a remake of the classic pete rock beat for nas was originally released in 2002 and >its simple< was a visioneers version of one of marcs own beats from the album >how about a game of chess?<. this limited edition pressing coincides with bbes 15th anniversary and the run up to a brand new visioneers album in spring 2012. two classics on a classic label, limited pressing with the bbe anniversary design. dont miss out!

incl. bonus mix cd! following on from the success of >dirty old hip hop< marc returns with a new visioneers record hipology. hipology is a collage of some of my personal influences as a dj/producer growing up listening to hip hop a real eclectic mix of breaks, beats, soul, jazz, and freaky squeaks and not a sampler in sight. visioneers is about revisiting my love for hip hop, what is was and what it is the musical influences and the culture. hipology will be released on bbe records late spring and features guest spots from john robinson, trac & baron, notes to self, luke parkhouse & the ariya horns!

marc mac and his visioneers band decided to cover this classic rather than remix it, and they lovingly recreated every part including the vocals, giving us 2 blissful versions

this track has been a djs favourite for over 30 years.now juno released the lush layering of instruments and percussion track and it sounds great.now we have some edits which are added by some extra dancefloor elements while keeping the integrity of the original.
