for this new release, rue de plaisance opens its doors to a new york city artist we have been following since her debut 3 years ago. she’s developed a very personal, warm and groovy sound on different labels (brouqade, bodyparts) and in her live acts. her recordings have gathered the support of great artists from the scene and it s a real pleasure to welcome oshana.

oshana returns to us with the multiverse ep, it s an undeniable thrill to see how our girl from nyc has evolved over time. the tough, sure-footed approach on both tracks here suggests a more techno-flavoured influence coming to bear on oshana s studio work, and she makes the style all her own. from the warm, pad-enriched swell of rashomon theory to the bass-driven sass of voyager , this is oshana at her most confident and dynamic, and we re thrilled to be sharing it

oshanas first ep release with brouqade is reminiscent of summer and good times past

mit alt014 präsentiert altered circuits seine erste various artists-veröffentlichung. auf dieser cluborientierten 12 inch sind neben dem label mitbegründer drei freunde des labels vertreten.

bqd40.2 is a collection of original material of artists who we signed back then. on the a side, vid’s “camelie” was an early masterpiece for the label. the mesmerising piano that shines over the beat caught everybody out and made this track one of the most loved brouqade anthems. the b1 belongs to label fave, oshana, who actually released her first production, “magdelena”, on the label. the track featured here, “something different”, was part of a digital compilation, and we’re proud to say we’ve been part of oshana’s story since the very beginning. and as we’ve been digging this track for so long, it’s now only right that it gets some a release on wax.
