ocha records latest vinyl release introduces two gems from dj kemits (also known as ½ of kemeticjust) full length release everlasting. the former dj and producer for the grammy award winning group arrested development brought his soul sensibilities to this project and caught the attention of carlos mena who enlisted the help of some real dance music heavyweights to rework two of the tunes.

song in mayleads in with clarks vocal and a deep funky bassline, before being joined by warm chords and crisp beats on this deep house gem, with both the main mix and instrumental takes sure to please. on the flip, kemit goes out in his kemistry guise, reworking the track with rearranged drum patterns, added layers of synths, and a great guitar hook.

musicalitys second release is a remake of the gil scott heron b-side *the klan*, featuring allan barnes formerly of the blackbyrds, and craig huckaby. the a-side has a wind and keys driven retro-funkiness, aided by latin percussion. kemeticjusts remix on the b glues everything together into a slightly faster house-tempo, increasing the propulsion, and likely causing lively dancing to break out. it was mixed by pirahnahead at united sound systems, and mastered by the legendary herb powers. musicality is the brainchild of producer/dj seth dedikate carter.
