holic trax was founded in 2012 by berlin based dj/producer tomoki tamura and now serves up its 22 release from nightdrivers.

tenax recording is proud to present the second installment of the anniversary ep series signed by two of the most representative artists of the underground scene both coming from italy: nightdrivers and bassa clan. the first duo (mass prod and rufus) under the nightdrivers moniker deliver two outstanding tracks in order to survive that will drive the floor crazy thanks to its hypnotic and percussive groove & strong and deep vocal. the second track scudiscio beat is a loopy groove with a whistling synth line that evolves from the beginning to the end. the second artists to feature are bassa clan (dino angioletti and fabrizio maurizi) they have released on their own imprint bassa clan, howl, rebirth amoungst others & will appear on tenax with time in a bottle and endless three. time in a bottle is a perfect mix between house and techno while endless three is a magical trip with an infinite change of rhythm based on a chopped up synth line from the beginning to the end. a record ready to be dropped at the peak of any set.dj support: nastia, honey dijon, marco faraone, joris voorn and nic fanciulli…

after one year since the first release night visions, the nightdrivers team is back for another race on their own imprint with a bunch of fresh, obscure and rolling bangers named nightlights: the record starts with the mutant and spastic tech funk of the epic bright lights, a totally sweat walled basement track where a dirty, crispy and crunchy disco break combines with an edgy, syncopated 909 driving beat while a cheeky melody of party-bells going slightly out of tune runs on the top of it.

this february nightdrivers deliver three first-rate cuts on holic trax for the quando party dove vai ? ep. following on from burnski s the hours ep which saw love from names like mr g, catz n dogz, dam swindle and eats everything, holic trax returns this february with nightdrivers quando party dove vai ? . since delivering their debut release on bosconi records back in 2013 the berlin-based duo nightdrivers have been going from strength to strength stacking up further releases on claap, their own nightdrivers label and now holic trax. to get things underway the light pads of resta pure dove sei give the opening track a floaty quality while the weighty percussion and subtle rhythms build proceedings into a steady and infectious groove. nightdrivers appear to go up a gear as the ep progresses with the rippling drums and dynamic arrangements of la ronde suite (but not for me) while fast cars maintains the lively vibe of its predecessor and frenetically bubbles along over busy modulations, wacky intonations and infectious licks to dish up a suitably punchy close to this bouncy ep.

nightdrivers are an amazing italian production duo comprising of niccolo rufo aka rufus and martino marini aka mass prod. the duo caught our attention with previous releases on bosconi records as well as their recently released nightvisions ep on their self titled nightdrivers offshoot. two of italys finest comtemporary house producers, the easy life ep is a clear reflection of what sets these guys apart.

we proudly present 4 artists: nightdrivers (mass_prod + rufus) versatile artists who have made an analog live-take, influenced from deep house of early nineties. a sharp track that does not fail to surprise. speakdeep and jwl perform the second and third track of the ep, they developed a crescendo of sounds that takes you to an underground club. giovanni ferretti, former member of the sycamore age and multi-instrumentalist closes the album with an emotional and introspective track.

its been a big year for breach, a.k.a. ben westbeech. his track jack hasnt just blown up on danceoors across the globe: its laid waste to them. in the process, jack got to number 9 in the uk charts. not bad considering westbeech has always seen breach as an underground thing.
