After the first Rockets & Ponies release, “OWN” won over the WMC crowds, with its sun-filled vibes, the label is hitting back with its second dance-floor smasher, by Alex Dolby & Santos.

The percussion heavy “This Is My City” is a mesh of metropolis beats : it calls to mind a sweaty, smoggy Rio de Janiero and traffic jams in Rome. Chuck in a bit of bird song, off-beat, sporadic drums and electric carhorn beeps which create a hectic jazz effect and you have a winner.

Energy-filled and relevant, this track will rule the dancefloors. Alex Dolby and Santos create a more low-key sound with “Big Run” which is trippy to the max, with its elastic, psychadelic yo-yo beats pulsating throughout the track
