ART-NR2 is the third release in ART Records Remaster series following on from Carl Craigs >Psyche/BFC< and Kirk Degiorgios >Nairobi EP<. Promenade Eleven lives up to the billing of those illustrious predecessors, being a reverse-engineered remake of >Night On The Promenade< which originally appeared in limited quantities on the New Religion label in 2006 under the name >Super-A-Loof<. Labelled at the time as a successor to classic Techno tracks such as Derrick Mays >The Beginning< and Rolandos >Knights of the Jaguar<, this re-make will finally bring it to the wider audience it deserves via the ART label. Promenade Eleven (Original Mix) adheres faithfully to the original arrangement but has been re-recorded and totally remixed from the ground-up for a modern club sound.
