Rising from the south coast UK techno scene, Rich Jones has been mastering his sound for nearly a decade. Producing hardy, hypnotic techno for labels such as Reset Robots Roomba Music and Alan Fitzpatricks 8-sided Dice label he has found his productions been played by the likes of Richie Hawtin, Derrick May, Adam Beyer, Slam and Funk DVoid to name but a few. His Soma 306 debut begins with Depthcharge, an instantly grabbing warehouse vibe emphasised by a falling synth over a solid sub-bass foundations. The concrete roots of the track are supported by a horn-like melody which explodes into a mainroom techno workout.
