Jeremy Greenspan, best known as the singer for Junior Boys, presents his debut solo productions on Caribou/Daphnis Jialong label. Apparently the first of a few 12 inches for Greenspan this year, this 1st edition is a stripped-down disco dedication. A-sides >Crown Princess< works with a paucity of elements - hi-hat/kick pattern and trickling, silvery arpeggios with a clear streak of JBs melodic magic. Flipsides >Guu< is more experimental, sounding something like a Berghain residents offbeat B-side reduced for more hypnotic indie/disco appeal. Another good twelve from this limited imprint - get in while you can.
