Belgian producer, Tim Van de Meutter, aka Locked Groove, returns to Hotflush for a second EP following the success of Januarys pivotal Rooted release. Keep It Simple comprises three weighty examples of why the young producers unique fusion of big-room techno and moodier, deep-house elements has been resonating so loudly of late. Central to the EP is simplicity itself, how simple structures create something larger than the sum of their parts as >Keep Running<, with its rattling percussion, acidic bass stabs and euphoric builds, flaunts to the full. >Aller Simple< adds swing to a similar palette that is as stripped-back as it is heavy-duty.
