This latest EP from UK punk-funk outfit Gramme represents the final release in the run up to the debut album due out this November.
Sales Information:
The EP opens with Girls Talk, which witnesses the band occupying curious new territory with lead vocalist Sam Taylor's playground taunt playing hard-to-get with am addictive groove.Next up is Face To Face which is the sound of Gramme at the wheel mixing in the spookiness of David Byrne and Brian Eno voodoo jamming. It's Magic performs a welcome surprise by mixing lo-slung funk with a bubble pop vocal. The EP comes to a shuddering grand finale with Two Minds - the most electronic track to date mixing dreamy vocals with cut back spikes of machine funk - this is the sound of Gramme's very own production team getting sweaty in a late night studio session in deep, dark SE London. There is simply no denying it. It's official: Gramme are back.
