The new bomb on Echocord Colour comes from Nick Höppner and Scott Monteith aka Deadbeat. This is the first ep by Nick Höppner on Echocord Colour. Nick is maybe most known as being the manager of one of Berlins most infamous record labels, Ostgut-Ton, Höppner may not always receive the same lavish praise as Ostgut artists like Ben Klock, Shed and Marcel Dettmann, but there is an argument to be had that he is the best of the bunch. Höppner only releases sporadically, but whether it is solo or alongside Lee Jones as MyMy, his records are always remarkable. The 2 tracks for this release are both peaktime tracks. Deadbeat did the remix.
