Dalhous is the latest collaborative incarnation of Marc Dall and Alex Ander, who have previously released on Blackest Ever Black as Young Hunting. The change of name reflects a new clarity and conviction to their work, and while certain sonic signatures, not to mention certain extra-musical influences (particularly the films of Jack Bond and Jane Arden), have carried over from their last project, they are handled here with a newfound sophistication and restraint. Mitchell Heisman marks the beginning of a new chapter in the precocious duos development, and heralds Dalhouss debut album on Blackest Ever Black in 2013.
