Following the P-Punk stomp that was Electric Plum (ticitaci 001/A) comes THE sequencer track of the moment - LYCHEE by tici taci label boss Duncan Gray
Sales Information:
If you've been to any of Andrew Weatherall and Sean Johnston's ALFOS parties this summer you'll have heard this track - it's unmistakable. Swathes of slide guitar mixed with an insistent sequencer riff, and bass guitar which some folks might have once described as "baggy". On the B side the groove is a little rarer, PALE GREEN TREES echoes the post-disco sound of Purple Ash (ticitaci 001/B), with a big warm bass guitar groove, funky guitars and a melody to get trapped under your mullet. Keep your ears open for other appearences by DG on forthcoming Weatherall remix work - including Emiliana Torini's superb Speed of Dark.
