Following on from four volumes of well received vinyl releases, Rory Phillips Mixed Fortunes singles series returns for its fifth outing. After collaborations with Martin Dubka and L-Vis 1990 on the last two volumes Phillips goes it alone for this, the penultimate instalment in the series.

Successfully road tested throughout the long hot summer, opening track ‘Circuit‘ is a playful piece of analogue machine music, starkly contrasted by it’s flip, the sprawling ‘Rise Up’ which begins as a basement dub jam before evolving into.. well, you’ll see.
The release coincides with Mixed Fortunes Live, which makes it’s debut with a full band at the last ever DURRR party on November 9th.
