Violet is a portuguese producer and DJ living in London. Since debuting via Wicked Bass Records – and later One Eyed Jacks, Violet’s music managed to grab the attention of key figures of the scene such as Matias Aguayo, Snuff Crew, Teengirl Fantasy, Phillip Sherburne, Djs Pareja and others that play her tracks regularly in some of the finest clubs worldwide. She recently joined the Snuff Trax roster, with her track “Night Song”, available on a 12″ vinyl that also includes tracks from absolute heroes such as Basic Soul Unit and Andreas Ghem. Since debuting in 2006, this Portugal-bred, London-based act is a former duo turned solo – with Marco Rodrigues now taking full charge – that has been creating psychedelic inspired house & techno and gained followers in Optimo, Ivan Smagghe and Ewan Pearson and released on legendary labels like Andy Blake’s elusive Dissident and Dirty Sound System. Photonz runs his own label One Eyed Jacks and has also featured on Get The Curse, Snuff Trax, Don’t Be Afraid and their EP “Hurt Me Hurt Me” on Unknown To The Unknown received a 10/10 review in DJ Mag. His EP “1551″ was released on Unknown To The Unknown and was played by Jackmaster on Pete Tong’s BBC Radio 1 show. He’s also remixed people like Dan Avery and Alyson Moyet.
