The release will contain also the original short-time version.
Bourbonese Qualk came into existence in 1979, and put out a stream of confrontational albums through much of the '80s and into the early '90s. After a long pause, their final album, On Uncertainty, came out in 2001, and the band disbanded the next year after the death of guitarist Miles Miles.
"Lies", a terse, TR 808 driven electro-tinged cut just under two minutes long, originally came out in 1986 on the Preparing For Power LP by way of the group's own label Recloose Organization.[info from rh]
