After delivering the FH05, label co-owner Pablo Tarno is back at the controls with the FH09. The A-side features the more clubby cuts, ranging from the broken beat and dramatic jazzy piano chords of “Horizons” to the more driving house beat and playful synth melody of ‘Gunkan”. The B-side is all about the laidback grooves, “Bitchplease” is a heavy dubby bass affair with serene pads that will lighten any mood, while “Preemo” brings back Pablo’s deep trip hop roots, closing off the record with a classy slowed-down number.
