The experimental sounding band emerged from New York City s vibrant Downtown scene in 1981, developing their own unique sound, a fusion of irresistible basslines, junkyard percussion and urgent, free-flowing lyrics.

The group's successes included club hits such as 'Cavern' (sampled by Grandmaster Flash in the making of 'White Lines'), 'Bellhead' and 'Optimo' in addition to sold-out concerts worldwide.
