Steve Bug and Cle go way back. As friends, DJ colleagues, co-producers and label mates the pair have enjoyed a close bond for nearly twenty years. Their Rejected debut sees them stepping back into the studio once again to create a brand new brace of acid-tinged club cuts that whilst looking to past, are focused firmly on the future.

Both ’Together’ and ’That’s Right’ are a celebration of the pair’s musical partnership, with roots planted way back in the early nineties, when the ecstasy fuelled dance floor hysteria would be stoked by hypnotic, minimal arrangements that worked subtle variations of loops and FX for maximum roof-raising effect. Abrupt frequencies, massive breaks and big bass drops may be the fashion of today, but back in those heady, electric and exciting times it was the gentle growth and delicate expansion of a track that really brought the goose bumps.
