Yoruba Records is ecstatic to welcome back Hallex M with our latest release, the Oggun EP. Kicking off with the title track, Carlos Mena lends his voice to give praise to Oggun, the warrior-protector Orisha, in this low end heavy and celebratory groove. Slowing things down a bit,Lhasa is a more subtle and relaxing cut, teasing you with a beautiful piano melody and funky bassline. Nickodemus gets to work with his remix of the title track Oggun. Giving this a treatment with a thick and stubby bass, this mix takes things to a deeper territory appreciated by discerning dancefloors. We round out the EP with Show You The World, a laid-back love song featuring the warm and inviting vocals of Gabriele Poso. Once again Hallex shows his prowess in crafting emotionally intelligent dancefloor tunes, we hope you enjoy these as much as we have enjoyed bringing them to you!
