Perhaps CPU’s deepest foray into techno, Osaka-based artist Yuri Urano’s ‘Autline’ E.P. draws parallels with the machine-like incremental builds of Sweet Exorcist / Richard H Kirk. Plenty of variation with minimal down-tempo through to fierce industrial techno. Urano’s industrial sound is gaining a lot of attention in the Japanese techno scene and this E.P. will only galvanise her reputation.
