Opener, ‘Plastic Games’ is pacy, trippy electro; shadowy loops steeped in urgency - the shape of things to come from Grammar of Movement. Dysphoria ensues via the robotic, melancholic ‘Model 1600’. Next, ‘IOI’ offers stripped back food for thought, slowly sucking you into the acid whirlpool. On the flip, Grammar of Movement nods to other influences. ‘Sad Juno’ lets broken beats smack against swirling electronics. Rounding out the EP on a groovier note, ‘K-Mix’ is a sonic laser-quest adventure.
