Hypercolour backroom boy, Ste Roberts, surfaces to the top for a long-awaited new release on the label, serving up a trio of wonky and twisted grooves on ‘The Crescent’ EP.
Firmly establishing his STE label project over the last few years, as well as notable releases on Infiltrate, Kneaded Pains and Catch Recordings, Roberts unleashes gnarly modular riffs and deft melodies over a swinging, minimal beat on ‘The Crescent’, teased out over its nine-minute duration.
