Das Album wurde 1966 veröffentlicht und enthält die experimentelle Musiksuite (eine Anspielung auf spätere Rockopern) „A Quick One While He's Away“, die berühmt dafür ist, dass sie im Rolling Stones Rock N Roll Circus aufgeführt wurde. „A Quick One“ enthält Songs wie „Boris the Spider“ und „Don't Look Away“ und wurde vom langjährigen Who Ingenieur Jon Astley von den Originalbändern gemastert. Das Album erscheint als 1LP, die schwarze Vinyl Version wurde zusätzlich von Miles Showell in den Abbey Road Studios mit einer Half-Speed-Mastering Technik gemastert.
