Gatefold LP with obi-strip
Count Buffalo and the Jazz Rock Band were in ambitious mood when they recorded this vital work back in 1969. It is an era-defining record from the Japanese jazz-rock scene with drummer Akira Ishikawa - who led groups such as Midnight Sons, Genchers, and Count Buffaloes - with serval other talented musicians such as Ken Muraoka, Hiromasa Suzuki, Kiyoshi Sugimoto and Masahiko Sato. The arrangements are innovative and cuts such as 'Cougar' are hip-jazz cuts with disquieting strings, 'Greensleeves' is avant-garde and a dry jazz-rock prison of 'Hey Jude' sounds like little else.
