Sony Music Entertainment veröffentlicht mit Spirit | The 12" Singles am 20. September ein neues Deluxe-Boxset aus der erfolgreichen Collector’s Edition.

Das Set enthält sieben Maxi-Singles auf Vinyl, die die Single-Auskopplungen von Spirit, Depeche Modes vierzehntem Album, featuren: Where’s the Revolution (Original-VÖ: 3. Februar 2017), Going Backwards (Original-VÖ: 23. Juni 2017) und Cover Me (Original-VÖ: 6. Oktober 2017).

Als Bonus für die Fans findet sich auf Spirit | The 12" Singles eine siebte Scheibe mit der ersten 12“-Vinyl-VÖ von Highline Sessions, einer Liveaufnahme, die am 3. August 2016 in New York City entstand. Zu hören sind hier u.a. eine mitreißende Version von David Bowies „Heroes“ (die Hymne feierte 2017 ihr 40. Jubiläum) sowie zwei unveröffentlichte Fassungen von So Much Love und Poison Heart.

Spirit | The 12" Singles ist die 14. Ausgabe der DM 12” Vinyl Collectors Editions und das erste Boxset, das eine Bonus-Maxi mit bislang unveröffentlichtem Songmaterial enthält.

Spirit | The 12" Singles erscheint in limitierter Auflage und enthält neben den 180g schweren Vinyl-Maxis auch ein Replica-Poster und eine Download-Karte

Spirit | The 12“ Singles will include 7 discs; replicas of the original three double discs of the 12” singles for Where's The Revolution, Going Backwards and Cover Me, plus a bonus disc of audio never before released on vinyl that collects The Highline Sessions - a live session the band recorded in NYC of tracks from the album plus their amazing cover of David Bowie's “Heroes.” Two of these live tracks on this bonus disc - “So Much Love” and “Poison Heart” - have never been released before. This is the first time in the single series that unreleased material has been included in a the box set.
