A live companion piece to the recent 'Good Grief' album (Bernard's first solo album for over two decades). After the completion of 'Good Grief’ Bernard was looking to road test a show in which he could perform anything from his catalogue in a simple format; 2 guitars and a microphone which allowed the freedom to improvise through each song and each set. A favourite haunt, Camden’s Green Note was chosen to host a week of intimate shows and served as the perfect setting to introduce the new songs alongside long-time fan favourites. All of the shows were recorded and these are the songs from ‘Good Grief’ as they appeared in a nascent fashion in front of 60-odd people hearing the songs for the first time.
