The Notorious B.I.G. and MF Doom never crossed paths, but their both rather corpulent, harrumphing verses certainly worked to activate an association in stylistic kind. US wheeler-dealers Big 45 here roll out another sly boot from the shadows to honour said likeness. On the A, Notorious B.I.G. flows over the silk and bounce of the Gap Band's 'Outstanding', flipping a West Coast roller; then Doom's supervillainy gets recast over David McCallum's 'The Edge', uncannily recalled as the backbone of Dr Dre's 'The Next Episode'.
