exchange place is the dj collective that includes nicuri himself alongside joey anderson, dj qu and a producer by the name of art gallery. the name makes reference to a district in downtown jersey city, just across the river from manhattan, which is where the crew is primarily based. they released a 12-inch under the name exchange place with dj qu s strength music label back in 2010, and have dj d occasionally as a group around new york city. the new ep, immaculate inception, includes one track from each of the four contributors.

nylon trax the brooklyn born seattle-based label, lead by new yorker jaymz nylon has returned to its vinyl roots with the release of a four track ep. archv 1 features interstellar tunes from the catacombs of nylon trax extensive catalogue featured talents on this ep are the vocalist darrius willrich, leandro p. feat. anthony poteat, dj qu, dj jus-ed, zulus at work, m. carporale and nylon himself. traversing between all corners of the nylon trax diaspora, the club-ready archv 1 leaves no rock unturned. proving the perfect introduction to those unfamiliar with the labels hyper-global sound, nylon trax return to vinyl is nothing short of timely.

repress 2015 ... the second series of yygrec comes from dj qu, who leads the us underground house scene with jus-ed, fred p, levon vincent. in the mid 90s dj qu came to japan as a world soul member together with house dancer brian footwork green, marjory and joey anderson (who was featured as the first series ofyygrec).
the 2 new tracks by qu unleashes yet another underground vibe with a dark, mysterious, composed simple touch. more than anything, the uplifting rhythm unique to a former dancer will surely capture and fulfill your senses.

this newly inspired project has also been launched as a partnership with hometown friends - nitin and former art department band-mate kenny glasgow in support of an issue very close to their hearts - animal cruelty. white has recently begun work on maac (music against animal cruelty), a charity project started with long time friend and pulse radio founder wade cawood. the charity will serve as a fundraising initiative with plans to galvanize the support of the electronic music industry and to help raise money and awareness to protect african wildlife facing the threat of diminishing population or extinction. social experiment will serve as a non profit record label with 100% of proceeds donated to maac.

secretsundaze return with ss016 - dj qus mighty ss1 ep. secretsundaze and qu have developed a special relationship with him playing at many of their parties in london but also at their events in the likes of new york, berlin and barcelona. a full 3 track ep on a label outside of his own strength music is rare for dj qu so its serious coup for secretsundaze.
