A very special one sided vinyl single from the one and only DJ Qu.
Sales Information:
Now in it’s 7th year, Record Store Day has evolved into a global celebration of the independent record store and the much loved vinyl format, giving artists and labels the opportunity to do something special for their fans. And in that very spirit Jonny White’s No.19 imprint has teamed up with New Jersey production heavyweight DJ QU for a very limited, one sided vinyl release that is sure to be instant hot property.
Dj Qu needs little introduction, having held court in the upper echelons of electronic music’s counter culture for the last decade, dropping releases on Jus Ed’s Underground Quality, Anthony Parasole’s The Corner and Sascha Dive’s Deep Vibes as well as his own highly respected Strength Music Recordings. As a DJ he has an enviable reputation across the globe, from his residency at New York’s influential House Dance Conference to his regular guest spots at the likes of Fabric London, DC10 Ibiza or Panorama Bar Berlin.
The latest musical offering from DJ Qu comes in the shape of ‘Cycling (I’ll Wait)’ a six and a half minute electronic jam that explores the outer reaches of analog excellence whilst keeping one eye squarely on the dance floor. Swirling psychedelic synths, disembodied vocals and an array of FX are married with a hypnotic rhythm section tipified by pulsing sawtooth bass notes and 808 fueled percussion. This is a truly unique piece of electronic music that denies classification and is sure to delight fans of house, techno and electronica alike.
No.19 Music have hit the mark once again with this superb release, catch it while you can!
