next detroit - chicago bomb by echonomist. incl huge john dimas remix. like an aficionado of acid house echonomist returns with a stormer on third wave. this time his hyped chord progressions resolve into a groove that is more or less a reminiscence of the hacienda days. dans mon salon sings in black shades >i feel for you<, >to lock with a groove that i crave for<. a praise to jack, a praise to the way of jack. ultimately, >jack had a groove. and from this groove came the grooves of all grooves<… john dimas goes deeper underground with a simple primitive like pulsating groove. the insistent bass line tone (that slowly unravels an opening filter) clearly connects to old skool techniques of acid house masters.

greek producer and electronic music activist echonomist has been releasing distinctive and quality house music for years now, on esteemed labels frances time has changed or his own co-run vip label. an infectious blend of deep house fused with techy modern production has landed the up and coming producer on steve bugs dessous imprint with this, his debut ep for the label, featuring the vocal talents of berlin based upstart mz. sunday luv. lead track >real love< comes in various forms, the original being a vintage styled classic house jam, infused with sundays truthful treatise about love in all its forms. echonomists solid beats, chicago bassline and dramatic snare rolls make this a real showstopper. the track is then revisited in a more east coast slow jam style, full of lovingly produced details and warm summertime synth goodness. flemish talent san soda reworks >real love< into a real late night burner, bringing in a more european electronic vibe with heavy bass and climbing dramatic synths. perfect for the floor and the heavier moments, it complements the originals more old school aesthetics perfectly.

nice price deal !!! we are delighted to welcome echonomist on dieb audio and present this ep. on >room with a view<, echonomist shows us how well he knows the art of producing pure underground tech house music with all the beautiful chord transitions and the old school drum programming while on >stay< he delivers a functional piece of deep house music with bouncy bass lines and funky chord stabs.
on the remix duties we have dieb audio boss john dalagelis and legendary roland klinkenberg along with his new alias name zabriski. john created a groovy drum arrangement and twisted the chords resulting to an essential tech house rework of >room with a view<. roland remixed >stay< and delivered a more hypnotic and sophisticated yet chunky tech version of it. enjoy!

petros (aka echonomist) understood that apparel music is always looking for the jazzy. we perceive this term as a really special thing, strictly human, true. and then if the real instruments come in, like voices or saxophones, the plate is ready. >thats it< starts far away, with a solo that blends and presents the entire ep something more than one minute. everything flows, stops, gets consumed, digs. >midnight talk< brings us in the most hyper deep, unusual like the style of the artist is. an overview of evolutions that lead us to the awareness that petros is in our day, between things that go fast and others that slow down to be observed. the law of nature brings us to ali kuru remix (we move a little bit to the right from greece to turkey). habits, perceptions and tastes change. ali takes us on a mental journey, long, meditated, tidy. a motif that turns over and over, while things change all around, everything evolves, disclosing new sonar places. there is not much to say. >midnight talk< is a complete ep, wanted, constructed with care and a lot of work.

the lights, the eps title track is a profound and complex story, never forcing itself upon the listener but gently picking him up in real sophisticated (production) manner. the second original track, -blckout-, is based upon a more repetitive structure. a deep male vocal, intertwining with a mystical synth-line and driving percussions gives this track its compelling energy. the b-side of the release consists of two remixes by myny and echonomist giving it both clubby structure and a beautiful-warm atmosphere.

after the first success story dubaptism are returning with their second vinyl release. this time with 3 original tracks that covers a wider range of techno. from dubby atmospheres to harder techno aesthetics. their good friend echonomist (rotary cocktail, high strings) is on the remix duty for this one and he managed to do a great job by setting extra groove and dancefloor energy to the original track. comes in a blue/green smokey marbled vinyl in limited numbers so hurry up!
