scatcity’s label head skatman debuts his first ep on the collective with ‘back in the zukunft’. after a series of appearances on the imprint, the berlin based producer drops a powerful four tracker that sees the return of ivory on the rework.

having already gained support from the likes of dixon, ame and red axes, scatcity records latest offering from ivory is already on the way to cause a serious stir this summer.

after gaining international praise from their hugely successful ep, l.d.o.e , aaaron & deckert return to the stage, this time debuting their forthcoming ep, wide eyes , on scatcity records. the pair offer more of their immersive and melodic techno, with jmii and skatman coming through on the remix duties.

the lights, the eps title track is a profound and complex story, never forcing itself upon the listener but gently picking him up in real sophisticated (production) manner. the second original track, -blckout-, is based upon a more repetitive structure. a deep male vocal, intertwining with a mystical synth-line and driving percussions gives this track its compelling energy. the b-side of the release consists of two remixes by myny and echonomist giving it both clubby structure and a beautiful-warm atmosphere.

after their amazing ep on brüksel jardin -savana- dka and jon mosto delivers even more great music this time as a debut release for scatcity. the catalogue contains one original track and 2 remixes by nandu and skatman. each one of the three tracks has a different vibe and style to it. the original track is a housey/clubby track with sensual french vocals from elenita, deep bass and minimalistic drums whereas the remixes are two completely different interpretations of the vocals, the nandu version is filled with organic drums, killer baseline, and jungley sounds, whereas the skatman reconstruction, took the vocals into more emotional side with long pads and a melodic arp. vinyl only release!
