the first of a two part 12- sampler taken from our leftback vol.1 mix cd featuring four previously unreleased tracks is now available in unmixed format on vinyl. the four tracks were previously featured exclusively as part of leftback vol.1 with the first edition including new music from harry mccanna, dtg, mathew burton, dudley strangeways, tijn & liro.

although still relatively young, matt star started his career in the late nineties followed by his first vinyl release in 2006. his music has since appeared on the likes of hypercolour, cocoon, repeat music, rawax and many more. following an appearance on the label as part of our latest mix cd (leftback vol.1) matt now joins the leftback roster for his first full ep on the label accompanied by a remix by label heads michael mclardy & dudley strangeways

need you back is a collaboration piece between the anonymous mystep character and vocalist frank h. carter iii. the original track and vocal laid the grounds for remix work by label regular jamie trench, and a most experimental remix by our new friend dudley strangeways. this release also commemorates 3 years of made fresh daily, it s been a hell of a lot of fun and learning so far. here is to another 3, mfd forever.
