although the artist has spent 2015 honing the discographies of his other projects, “ravers” comes after a silent year for the d. carbone moniker which in turn gives it all the more impact. the “class of ‘87” dj and producer’s first mini-album is dedicated to everyone interested in the ecstatic sounds of 90’s rave culture. on “ravers”, d. carbone distances himself from the functional perception that techno indicates a fairly narrow tempo range. instead, he approaches it more freely by returning to earlier formulations.

lucindo returns for his 2nd release on 3th records which he runs with ascion and d. carbone. alien rebellion enters with atmospheric textures and strings rising from the abyss into a new world of deep tension and emotion. once the dust has settled, we enter full out attack with industrial rhythms, ruffled percussion and acidic lazer beams. the journey continues along paths unknown, dark underlying elements of the alien attack is upon us, insanity and anxiety enter the inner dimensions of the mind. the chase is on and battle commences as we feel the power and the energy of the sonic weaponry. as we make it through the other side we feel cosmic clouds of waveforms encapsulate us, as we make our homeward journey.

ascion’s new solitary adventure on 3th records is the five tracks ep -public head-. imprinted in a folder that is designed by the producer himself, it starts with the electro-ish journey of “landescape” continuing towards the atmospheric broken-beat techno “public head”. on the flip side, “acido rosso” is a banging track in the manner of late 80’s acid-house that creates a strong anticipation for a classic techno cut, “xlight”. the ep is closing with the dramatic sci-fi attitude of “carnival”.

after three years, ascion and d.carbone return with *substructures*, their most experimental release to date on their label 3th. the a-side of this record holds two droney offbeat tracks, *ram expedients* and *lo-fi fields*, combining a rare/abstract and genuine mix of middle-eastern electronics, cyberpunk and uk warehouse techno. the b-side contains the tracks that are responsible for the nomenclature of this release: *substructures one/two*. being more oriented to genres such as idm and rave techno, they are characterized by powerful beats and cutting edge ambients and vocals. both tracks have been recorded during one of their live performances in london 2013.
