alora…from sebo k, sleeper thief, audiofly, anthony colllins, sian, marcin czubala to manuel de lorenzi. best feedback for the new 8bit record from the smart italian guy. manuel de lorenzi is definately one rising star to watch out for in 2008..carving his own fresh style and insight into his prodcutions, he delivers a fine ep for 8bit..>coconuts< is a slow burner, with punchy chord stabbs and deep haunting pads that take you nicely on a journey. on the flipside >something< is a more subtle, deep n dark groover. nick curly is brought in on remix duties keeping it close to the orginal yet delivering a more housed up percussive affair. a great ep and great start to 2008!

newcomer johnny d, comes with his first single release on 8bit records. well known from his release on oslo records a few month ago his last single >manipulation< was featured by a lot of well known artists like ricardo vilallobos, richie hawtin or luciano. >walkman< sounds a bit like an oldschool chicago house track. 100% coolness and satisfaction guaranty when you play the it. on b1 >dejau vu< is another excellent deep frisky track, based on a nice chord line which finds a finish in a playful tricky guitarsolo. b2 is a walkman remix from ray okpara. he tuned the track in a prime time killer ones. big groove reduced to the max!
