2016 repress ...the 2nd release on the new aniara label! this is one of the deepest, most intense tracks we have heard in a while! >sinai hypnosis< is a lush and relaxed tracks that slowly builds and builds and just dont push things as so many of the modern house records ... this is a fresh evening breeze slowly turning into a invisible silent tornado sucking you up and dropping you on cloud 9! this is probably the closest we have heard anything come to global communications without copying their sound. the title track comes as extended and dub version. flip side brings >mima<, another kind of ballad with a dubstep/two step beat and a soothing voice, leading you gently into new territories. (remember aniara 001 sold out in 1 week.. and so far never got repressed despite the demand! dont sleep!)

in collaboration with aniara records sankt goran presents an old swedish release that has been released as promo only in 1999. its a release called slobban by a late 90s trio of jens johansson, peter gustafsson and carl magnus ernström from falun in the woods of dalarna, two hours north of stockholm. almost classic detroit techno tracks with some jazzy influences from these guys that have been playing around and tweeking their deep bass nine, tb-303, korg dw8000 and yamaha dx7 & dx10, sprinkling some samples on top with the casio fz-10m since 1994. the peepz of aniara were so impressed by this obscure record that they found it essential to get a small run back avaialble for the many vinyl heads around. vinyl only release of these great swedish techno tracks somehow in the vein of the breakthrough tracks of aril brihka. nice one!

the 7th release on aniara marks the debut of henrik bergqvist from stockholm, sweden. two tracks of no frills, hands-on house, made with unbridled love for music, machines and the simple joy of dancing your ass off. a-side *go for what hurts* is all about the strings and the slamming beat, propelling you into the early morning vibe, while the b-side *spin* has what can only be called a truly irresistible groove. it is the type of track that takes the party from a simmer to a rapid boil!

genius of time are back after a great year with houston, we have a problem on royal oak, gliese 581g on aniara, several excellent remixes and extensive touring with their unique, all-hardware live set that spans 30 years of music technology in one show. this release features two of the highlights from their current set: a-side tuffa trummor med synt is a new jersey house bomb for the year 2012, whereas tuffa trummor med röst on the flip follows up last years science fiction with an off the hook beat, expertly processed vocals and a strings breakdown reminiscent of that mid-90s inner city vibe. artwork by jeffrey meyers.. essential!

dorisburg finally return after sinai hypnosis with tundra - an emotional and mesmerizing piece of dancefloor drama with a subtle touch of trance, but in the aniara flavour with a very modern sound. on the flip side transform dives deeper with a primal, broken rhythm, hypnotic arpeggios and a sub-terrestrial ambiance. meditative yet seriously danceable stuff!
