nun weilen wir mit unserem festival bereits das 6. jahr an einem der schönsten strände im osten der insel rügen, genauer gesagt in prora. das tag am meer ist ein familiäres festival bei dem jeder willkommen ist. bunt ist deshalb auch die erscheinende vinyl. in der vierten version kommen die musikalischen beiträge von tagträumer², stephan zovsky & dan cero sowie dominik häring und steve cole feat lara b. von deephouse über techhouse bis hin zu minimalen klängen erstreckt sich ein breites spektrum welches sich auch beim festival am meer wiederspiegeln wird.

this ep is inspired by the idea behind a clothing shop in london, in the 60ies. it was a place that became a cult institution for artists and creatives of all kinds at that time, based on sharing ideas and imagination, and here the circle closes to this record. we want to take you on a musical trip, with this record full of branches and secret paths. the well-known remixers andreas henneberg, agaric and normen weber used their imagination to show the main track in completely different shades. straightforward and for the big dancefloor, as well as deep and warm for the secret festival floor in the grove. let us take you on the trip, here and now and forever.

if you hear about a track called lalala, you immidiatly think about a dreamy, funny kids song. but as soon as you put the neadle down, you ll be surprised. its not corny, not sweet - it will take you off your feet and further away. this two sided ep perfectly fits to lars wickingers style. lalala and orphan black move with great emotions and energy. the remix of lalala by douglas greed & brummkreisel round the ep of perfectly, by giving it s new face. blackfoxmusic 024 will be the first limited vinyl only.

in 2016, the festival in prora releases another vinyl, and this time it is a real tasty tidbit. the boys from kiel, mitja & daniel mes, who also played at this year’s festival, included their track „feel free“ on the record. this track is the beach-echo and a perfect medicine against the winter blues. the second track originates straight from the island rügen, produced by the well-known irie island crew and holds the name „rügen rockt“. the name speaks for itself and through the well harmonized dub-swing reggae vibes be sure to be grooved from north to south of the small island. the backside of the vinyl is a piece of handcrafted art. the very distinct tag am meer logo is engraved through the help of a special technique called: etched. this record does not only sound good, but it also looks amazing.

located between absentminded fantasizing and alert awareness the release of blackfoxmusic arises out of the hands of tagträumer² with an obvious regionally derivation: pankow! the berlin based producer and vinyl aficionado who travels the world only with his record bag since the year one, returns after his guest appearance on the debut vinyl of the imprint and presents three irresistible tracks. not less melodic than driving, to flood the dance floor with energy and warmth. acker records label-daddy mollono.bass grabs his buddy marc vogler and contributes a remix á la bonne heure that rounds off the record perfectly.

summer 2015, illustrious festivals everywhere, gigantomania and superlatives without frontiers. who is looking for the small, fine and familiar alternative to the existing festival formats will find what they are looking for at the *day at the sea*. once a year the picturesque backdrop at the beach on the island of rügen get filled with life. at our festival in prora a lot of hand-picked live-artists and djs create a musical universe from reggae over downtempo up to house and techno. with the first *day at the sea* ep our acts bondi, verschnibbt & zugenäht, masterton with his remix for moby and tagträumer² bring a bit of that special beach feeling onto the black gold. exclusive songs let you imagine the scent of salty air and make the anticipation of a refreshing jump in the baltic sea come alive.

with *closer* masterton debuts on blackfoxmusics 19th release (bfm019). *closer* is a warm track with a deep groove and beautiful melodies. it relates to living in a long distance relationship and overcoming a lack of proximity.
robert babicz (babiczstyle, systematic, bedrock records) created an incredible remix. he used lots of the original melodies, combined them with new elements, added rolling drums and a thick bassline to give the track the extra drive. his remix became a constant part of his live sets and was debuted with great response at grelle forelle (vienna) and ritter butzke (berlin).
channel x (stil vor talent) remixed *closer* into a pretty cool and clubby deep house track. you can feel their berlin origin when listening to the groovy bassline with variations of the melody. finally the breaks capture the mood of the dissonant sounds from the original track.

with millimetric the catalog number 018 presents an analog synth lover who released his electro influenced tracks already on goodlife, the label of oxia & the hacker.
on *slogan* featuring riot miloos vocals he creates gloomy soundscapes being surpassed in its hardness and coolness just in david carettas remix. (gigolo / spacefactory)
the flipside *neuer morgen* is a different journey: melancholy synth-melodies facing with strong snare fill ins. last but not least at the end of this record toureau (parquet) shakes the whole track on his nacht-version-remix in an oldschool ebm-style.

the global underground talent kim pixa(systematic) from czech republic comes with the first single of his forthcoming album in early 2014. after his remix for marc romboys *taiyo* on systematic, now there is a cooperation with the international well known xenia beliayeva (shitkatapult). she fell in love with his track and the result is an emotional, sad and also powerful love song. dark abstract basslines and a punching melody combined with xenias lovesick german vocals is the perfect mixture to set every dancefloor on fire.

full 3 years have passed since indy toureau released his last ep on solees imprint parquet recordings and after remixes for beroshima, xenia beliayeva or johannes heil hes finally back home on blackfoxmusic. melanchromantic is a kind of >retro-new-wave-techno< : melancholic and romantic at the same time! with an 80s-infected electrotech-style, the perfetctly setted movie-samples and his emotional melodies the track pushes himself on every technofloor to blow the speakers out and destroy it!

on the release number 013 with the first remix for the blackfox crew, the catalogue number 014 completely devotes itself to the belorussian dj, producers and label owner pasha joint, better known under the likeable alias trockensaft. with nearly 30 releases in the back anything but unknown in the business!

a good feeling starts if the first drumsounds of >feel so good< find your way from the boxes in the space. the head own style drawers belonging open in the half dozen and argue about the most correspondent blueprint. house? in any case. disco? unfailable to hear influence. electro? also not to dismiss this. dub? the father of the whole atmosphere. cosmic? also this is a part of the authoritative ingredients in the here available circle of the sounds. and the dance floor suction strengthening cow bells are anyway a tight of a track element of all last music generations! quintessence is, here two artists have poured your wide motley collection in influence in the form of a single track, have condensed and with it have interlocked at least 40 years of dancefloor history in fresh kind with each other.

full drumming, a grumpy chord sound embraced from a dark, rebelling melody line like out of the old rave days and the demanding voice from the massive track internal, which calls the >soldier< with his name. remixer rolf mulder mills with darkly digging sequences and creaky acid effects sharp edged points in the sole of the dancers, so that these also find enough hold on the slant melodies. >skydive< makes in the matter of grooving also thick cheeks. the track rumbles more and more elegantly than stoic through the space and pulls from the propulsive combination of the vocal-hookline and the harmony changes a well-arranged serving of pop flair which cuts the darkness of the night with a flashing blade from light. toureaus impact version of >skydive< serves 8-bit like clicking in the treble area, swears to the rhythmical spirit of the good old days and asks him for a bouncing dance on the floors in the here and now.

the acronym lfo is normally used for >light fuel oil<, but what robert stolt presents with his new release is truly nutritious fuel for the dancefloor. >beyond lfo< developed a groove like chiseled, massive, overwhelming, heated up and extremely intense. a track that could easily run more and more and leaves you breathless and speechless as soon as the last bass drum is faded away. two remixes come from the feather of the well-known pig & dan guys. a steppin and ever-shifting rhythm is the foundation on which a swinging guitar melody unfolds their poignant effect and transform force into playful clarity. a suitable outdoor summer hit. in their second version, the melodic superstructure is purified rigorously, the residual remain compacted and the driving rhythmic moment dressed in a hypnotic dub garb. the clearly breaks infected track >monster< is inspired by the aesthetics of american b-movie monster movies from the 50s. varying, cinematic sound cascades and these wonderful bleeps over all have a direct path into the heads own sound cinema.

kapitel 2, and once everything is new! the collaboration of talented young producers and skilled heroes of the scene provides a colorful picture of the current sound development of the label in 2011. between tempo throttled, acid infected dancefloorkillers of l kubic and old school groove monsters of tokra thaan in a remix of james flavour up to grinding minimal beats with hypnotic-flashing sounds of trockensaft, to chameleon tracks from swen weber, which welcomes you with a dancehall impregnated beat in a 4/4 beat corset, which is ironed in the course of its construction and stay suddenly like a stomping and snorting steam train in the ear canal. and if then hardy hard mates early nineties rave influences with house vocals and flat-fuzz comes with a ghostly- kicking sampletrack around the corner which is just as hip hop as electro, it is clear, that these pieces are absolute killers of their guild, from the first to the last track, and each of them is conspicuous by its own distinctive aesthetic. originality is all

mit der veröffentlichung der neuen blackfoxmusic gehen für den lüneburger hans schultz nun gleich zwei langersehnte träume in erfüllung: zum einen, nach unzähligen digitalen releases, das erste schwarze gold und zum anderen ein remix seines großen idols dj dag. die auf dieser ep enthaltenen stücke sind alle techno, so wie man ihn immer kannte: stramm nach vorne marschierende kick-drums mit wild blubbernden basslines und ohne viel schnickschnack. nicht nur durch seine zahlreichen live-acts in diversen clubs und als labelhead von starcake records hat er genau verstanden, was funktionelle dance-musik bedeutet und zeigt dies auch kompromisslos auf diesem release.
