limited 2019 repress! tight modern house tracks with that nordic feel from dorisburg as first release on bossmusik! dorisburg, also known as one half of swedens house masters genius of time did a great job. the a side smuts is a rolling, dreamy house track with attitude, while studs on the b side is a bare and bouncing drum jam. reminds a bit of an old chicago drum trax release with drum machines going wild, done in a contemporary version by dorisburg. hot!

bossmusik returns with adam stromstedt for their seventh release. the swede, now residing in australia, is known for his eclectic track selection and production. on the a-side, two dance floors rollers combine groove and warm synths to create perfect soundtracks for the coming summer months. the b side showcases a more experimental side to adam s production. intermittent vocals combine with percussion driven rhythms for an easy going micro house trip.

through shards of frozen soundscapes, boss006 defrosts the stockholm sound with the bm debut of kalawila, whose ample use of sparse building techniques creates a rigid and tight groove structure. this subtle attitude fueled two tracker is what s up in 2016, especially in the bossmusik hometown of stockholm: the extended aside grasps intelligence while swiftly pushing forward. as for the flipside, this intergalactic adventure shares tight resemblance to the mystery unknown atmosphere of bossmusik s sonic universe, and sums up this little bomb in a clever and rewarding way... watch out!

recent output has seen dorisburg pushing into deeper realms. computer drumming are some further steps in these explorations of 4/4 rhythms and acoustic depth. with a wide range in tempo, the track titles offers aid for the venturous. a1 is a reduced jam of echoing percussion that never sees the entry of a kick drum. a2 compensates with bouncing bass and a playful array of drumming elements entering and dropping off in a bold tempo. exiting on a more well established pulse, the b side consists of the deepest and most mysterious offering from dorisburg to date. distant bells and chimes and a grand formation of percussion meets thundering bass in an encounter set on vast grounds.

delicate machine grooves from aniara affiliate henrik bergqvist. boss004 comes with two original compositions and a tribute cover track. a1 caballo blanco is a spirited machine cut with classic mpc bounce and a brash melodic line, sure to make confounding impact on dancefloors. following on, the beautiful skyrunner provides soothing morning glow with abiding soundscapes and dainty yet driven percussion. as a bonus comes losing control (lost in translation mix). a faithfully reproduced homage to daniel bells classic, reforming the composition with a swedish vocal loop and further development to the paradigmatic groove.

ltd repress !! bossmusik follows up the first release by dorisburg with another two-tracked ep by the swedish house master. the a side is a steady drum stomping dj tool with rolling snares, ecstatic noise bursts, eerie feedback drones and a huge potential for dancefloor moments. the b side takes on a more adventurous journey. with spacewalking percussion, vast floating pads and an accelerating bassline, eller fights gravity with a truly uplifting force.

bossmusik is back, presenting new stockholm duo subdued kamel. helgrillad kamel / studsande kamel ep further defines the sound of bossmusik: rolling trax with attitude, aptly focusing on forward and upward motion through percussive drive and atmosphere. helgrillad kamel is the roller track with high tempo, multiple kick drums and a playful collage of sound textures. studsande kamel is the stomper, keeping feet planted to the ground with deep bass and a powerful snare, aiming heads to the sky with intriguing build-up and a backdrop of propelling resonance.
