heres two new uptempo instrumental tracks from lindstrom just in time for the summer. breakfast in heaven sounds like something edward grieg could have made if he ever got a chance to work with sequencers. blast of loser is a percussive track with distorted clavinet-feedback on top of simple rolling drums. bol has been remixed by mungolian jet set last year, but its about time to release the original version

the cooperation between lindstrom and solale (aka isabel/christabelle) started in 2003 with the release of >music (in my mind)< as the second 12inch on feedelity. now finally they ve decided to do some more music together. this first single from the album that they re currently working on is a slow disco-number based on a 5 minute vocaljam (first-take is always best take…) together with a fat bass-arpeggio and some simple guitars/keys here and there. the lyrics doesnt necessarily pretend to be anything more than a >practise<, but is nevertheless quite good we think ! on the flip-side there s an amazing dub-workout that s given us from a friend that doesnt wanna reveal his identity

remember the infamous scene from the movie deliverance? the one with the retarded kid and the grown man going all out in a play off, an acoustic guitar vs a banjo… anyway, lindstrom finally got around to play & record the banjo he bought in nyc last summer. it takes time to practise & learn to play the banjo. lindstrom needed a year to make the simple banjo-lick used on >the contemporary fix<, the 9th feedelity release. you might think the use of banjo, autoharp & clavinet together with acid squiggles on top of live disco-drums is a most unusual combination? well, here s the soundtrack to deliverance 2006

'entle as a giant' comes with dry clavinet, heavy percussion, a monoton almost techo-ish synthbass and epic french horn. a2-track 'temperert' features acid synthbass and a very simple moog&flute melody. flip for the title-track 'arp she said', a balearic disco-groover. the ep ends with 'kontroll', slow-moving arpeggios and nasty hammond-feedbacksà enjoy yet another quality feedelity-release
