das elektroakustische duo jesse und sein erweitertes kollektiv feiern eine art comeback. nachdem sie nun seit 15 jahren ein fester bestandteil der finnischen elektronischen musikszene sind, veröffentlichen sie ein neues album namens descend. produziert von der band zusammen mit dem berliner dj sotofett, ist die platte eine reise in die tiefen des mikrokosmos unserer gedanken.

disco-formatted and world-fusioned four tracker with hints of finnish-prog-rock, jazz and new age by helsinkis jesse. last track being the burner on this ep, keke rullaa, a blissfull balearic pearl with mediterranean guitar, soft glow and afro-beating rhythms embedded in a dynamic 9 minute narration.

epic, cinematic & slow driving techno by stiletti-ana (half of helsinki s jesse duo). a-side s beat mix is straight tothe point but still climbs throughout it s entireness with harmonized arpeggio s and phased pads ? b-side reprises thetheme but with no rhythm, more ambience and differently filtered acid.

very cinematic, tunnel visioned & on-going arpeggiated synth-techno in two versions by stiletti-ana (half of jesse from last years twotinos lp on keys of life). a-side with steady kick and feedbacked percussions riding through a deep, analogic, cloudy and live drummed landscape. b-side highlights the scope with no drums, except the ever lasting cymbals.
