stemming from a period of reflection and adaption, “of time and actuality” expands imbue’s embrace of fusing contemporary minimal house grooves with original instrumentation, resulting in a multi layered and modern interpretation of electronic music.
the miami-based trio, consisting of maximiliano cortes, ignacio vallejo & eduardo j. alvarez, presents “of time and actuality” as the second vinyl release (“imbue” - feb. 2017) on their eponymous imprint, and third overall (“abstractions” - digital, dec. 2017). after several collaborations receiving notable support, ota features a joint composition with rojid (uvar, algorythmic, why so series?) titled “everybody”.
